Weisiger Group Earns Women-Owned Business Certification from NWBOC
Certification verifies women-owned and woman-controlled status, supporting supplier diversity initiatives and customer partnerships
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — April 2, 2026 — Weisiger Group today announced that it has been certified as a women-owned and woman-controlled business by the National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC), a nationally recognized third-party certifier of women business enterprises. The milestone comes as the company celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2026, marking a new chapter in its long-standing legacy of family ownership and leadership.
NWBOC’s certification confirms that Weisiger Group is owned and controlled by women. The company’s ownership transitioned to President Amanda Cornelson and her sisters, Marshall Weisiger Rodman and Grace Weisiger, continuing a multi-generational family ownership legacy during the company’s centennial year.
Women-owned business certification provides independent verification that supports supplier diversity programs and can expand opportunities to partner with organizations seeking to work with certified women-owned businesses.
